Excellent food and atmosphere. Really feels like a family neighbourhood eatery. We enjoyed Fieno Canepinese every time we come but have tried different things over the years. We had 9 people in the group and they have accommodated us well.

When in Canepina, do not look for something else, in this trattoria you will find authentic cuisine from the region, with great prices and wonderful services. The fieno is one of the best pasta we have tried in Italy!

È consigliatissima la prenotazione, soprattutto se si è in tanti, perché è sempre pieno. Noi eravamo in 2 e ci hanno trovato un posticino fuori dove faceva caldo ma era il giusto compromesso visto che non avevamo prenotato. È la seconda volta che ci capitiamo e devo dire che non delude mai. Abbiamo preso un tagliere in 2 che ha accontentato me che sono vegetariana e mio marito che non lo è. I primi sono ottimi la quantità è giusta, mio marito ha preso il coniglio, come secondo, ed ha detto che era buonissimo, io le patate ai porcini, ottime. Avremmo preso volentieri il dolce ma non ce l'abbiamo fatta. Il caffè ce l'hanno offerto loro. Servizio veloce ed attento le signore sono bravissime e ti consigliano sempre la cosa adatta al tuo gusto. Ci sarà un motivo se è sempre pieno! We ordered a platter for two, which pleased both me, who's vegetarian, and my husband, who isn't. The first courses were excellent, the portions were just right. My husband had the rabbit for the second course, which he said was delicious. I had the porcini mushrooms, which were excellent. We would have loved dessert, but we didn't manage it. They even offered us coffee. The service was fast and attentive, and the ladies were wonderful and always made recommendations for your taste. There must be a reason it's always busy! The food is good and the price is right. If it were closer to my house, I'd definitely go there more often.

La selezione del menu prevede numerosi piatti locali a prezzi ragionevoli: dalla pasta fatta a mano alle castagne, tipiche della zona. Per non parlare dei tozzetti preparati in casa, così buoni da aver domandato un bis, generosamente offertoci!
Il proprietario ha poi dimostrato attenzione alle mie esigenze alimentari (sono intollerante al lattosio), premurandosi di portarci del pecorino stagionato in aggiunta al formaggio già previsto nell’antipasto. L’ho particolarmente apprezzato.

Locale ben curato e cibi molto buoni.Apprezzati in particolare il "fieno" e i funghi. Personale attento e cortese, e anche bravo nel dare consigli turistici. Grazie ai suggerimenti ricevuti abbiamo visitato il bellissimo e ricco Museo delle Tradizioni Popolari, davvero piacevole.
